Who is Della James?

Della James is Ghostbusters if Ghostbusters were about a middle-aged woman who can speak to the dead and is trying to balance her responsibilities as a medium in a small Adirondack town with her day job, her mother, her marriage, and her dog.

It’s a lot, but who else is going to do it?

Della inherited her psychic gifts from the paternal side of her family and has been trying to figure out how it fits into her life ever since she discovered her abilities.

And not always successfully.

It’s tough being the only one who can see and communicate with ghosts, and it makes unraveling puzzling mysteries that much more difficult. Especially in a small town where everyone has something to hide.

But her strong sense of justice and her position as the executive director of the town’s historical society lend themselves to solving the kind of cold cases spirits will bring to her.

But even with so much weighing on her, Della remembers one thing. It’s only life, and it’s worth living with a bit of humor.
